Folks, this is what my in laws sent for the holidays. My husband and I are both shocked year after year. This year is particularly, BAD. Now my husband is an MD and I'm a teacher both based in NYC area. In laws are retired dentist and pharmacist in Miami. We sent two nice Sherpa jackets for dad and for mom one leather pouch from portland Leather and a facial care set from a German organic brand - all well wrapped with notes. We both are really tired of getting somehow BASIC gifts almost no thoughts put into it. I wanna stop the gift exchange, but my husband just responds "Thank you." How do you guys think about this? Bo 1h. My daughters father has a new girlfriend and a new job he's doing really well, he always gives me money. He even helps with my other kids who aren't his. But since his new girlfriend came into the picture he still gives me money, and takes his daughter every weekend, BUT he brings the gf. I don't like her and I told him to break up with her. He won't so now he's going on child support. What's a reasonable amount to ask the court? I'm a stay at home mom and would like to stay a stay at home mom. Also my current boyfriend is a stay at home dad and we need the support since we aren't working.

I hope this isn't against the rules, but my feelings have been a little hurt. A mother posted on my local group asking for assistance because she's 9 months pregnant and didn't have anything for the baby, so I did what crocheters do best, I made a matching hat, mitten, and boot set for her, and was starting on a blanket for her. I didn't expect anything in return for it, I just did it because I wanted to. When I pmed her to show her she replys with "that's sweet but no thank you, I'm looking for real clothes and baby items" I don't have money to buy expensive items so I'm feeling a little hurt that my hard work wasn't considered "real baby items". I hope I didn't break any rules..pic of the hat just to show it.
