There was a sadness I felt standing behind this woman in line at McDonald's last week I watched as she took her small drink and cheeseburger to a nearby booth and sat down Alone I was in a hurry as I had a client meeting but I did something I've never done before I asked her if she'd like some company She replied "Why yes I'd love that" We spoke for 45 minutes about everything - Her husband who she lost last year - Her kids who hardly visit - Her company which had been struggling recently The tears in her eyes reflected the deep loneliness she felt She reminded me of my Grandma... "I think I can help you...."
