10 masters degrees
![9:47 7 Fabian Teichmann • 3rd+ Attorney-at-Law | Public Notary | Dr. iur. | Dr. rer. pol. | LL.M. 1w. + Follow Just graduated from Harvard University once again! Today, I earned my 10th master's degree and the third one from Harvard. Many ask why I didn't stop studying after obtaining my second PhD. The answer is simple: I believe in continuous development. In a constantly changing world, I want my team to keep improving and broadening their perspectives. As such, to lead by example, I continuously challenge myself to become a better version of myself. Each degree I earned has been instrumental in building my companies. Let's take a quick look at my educational journey to understand why completing these degrees has been more than just a hobby. After graduating from Institut auf dem Rosenberg, I pursued an undergraduate degree in economics and finance from Università Bocconi in Milan. My profound understanding of economics and finance has been essential in leading the financial aspects of my companies. At 18 years of age, I spent a summer at Harvard studying leadership and public speaking. Encouraged by Dean Michael Shinagel, I began a master's degree in general management at Harvard, laying the foundation for my career as a management consultant. At 20, I completed my undergraduate degree at Bocconi and moved back to Switzerland to pursue a master's degree in accounting and finance at the Universität St.Gallen (HSG) while finishing my first master's degree at Harvard. This dual focus helped me launch my first company, Teichmann International AG. Realizing the need for legal expertise, I pursued a master's degree in law at the University of St. Gallen, + Home My Network Post Notifications Jobs](https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/masonry/002/833/118/692.jpeg)

There's more to that story
![Tom Gimbel • 1st Founder, CEO LaSalle Network | 12 x Inc 5000 13h A while back, I interviewed someone who had a really good resume. It was an enjoyable conversation. They said they had heard really good things about our company and the quality of people that worked here. They declined an offer and said it was because they didn't want to work as hard as they understood LaSallians do. I saw they were recently laid off from a company where they didn't have to work as hard. That's the story. 102 10 comments • 1 repost Р Like Comment Repost Send](https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/masonry/002/826/795/b9b.png)

This was senior candidate, being given polite, constructive feedback on how they ever so slightly missed out on the job - I didn't' even have a chance to say "if anything changes we could consider offering you the role" - phone down, gone ⑪Talk about burning bridges!? If there's one thing I put A LOT of time and effort into, it's a good candidate experience, even more so since I was made redundant last year (I get it!). I've been told countless times "I've never had such a thorough and welcoming call from a recruiter, thank you". Does that boost my ego? NO. It simply reminds me that I'm doing the right thing and being human. I run intro/screening calls up to 1 hour because I genuinely care about what candidates have to say. Yes my screening questions are important, but so too is finding out wht drives candidates, what progression for them actually means, what's led to their current circumstances and finding out who they are BEYOND the CV. On the flip side, talking passionately about HSOne UK and what we have to offer easily takes up 20 minutes and I'm OK with that because we have such a great story to tell The end. 20191 83 comments • 1 repost](https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/masonry/002/826/790/325.jpeg)
