These early years of our life should be for grinding and setting yourself up to have work-life balance in your 30s, when it actually matters. When you need to have time for your Family. Your kids and significant other. It is pure entitlement for someone in the early to mid 20's to be complaining about "Work-Life" balance. You haven't worked long enough nor do you have a "life" that needs balancing. Thoughts from a Gen Z who is disappointed in the generation they where brought up in.

'Thinkbait', not 'clickbait'. ND or a------? 1h I struggle with the world. It seems designed for and populated by absolute morons. I went out for coffee and cake with my wife. I ordered a black coffee. The waitress (speaking in that sing-songy way that treats everyone like a child and seems to be how customer service works these days) asked me, 'An Americano?' My response was to look at her with a hard expression. I had just told her with absolute clarity what I wanted. She could call it a French f g Poodle for all I cared. Eventually, she got the hint. Sort of. 'Do you want milk with that?' 'BLACK. COFFEE.' For f 's sake. An expression crossed her face as if I'M the a hole. It's fortunate she couldn't read my mind. Then again, I doubted she could read anything. It might be that I'm autistic. It might be that I am a psychopath. It might be that I have an IQ equal to most people's weekly calorie intake. But it's painful being the least r person in most situations. The world says 'be kind'. F. all that. Be present. Be interested. Be of value.
