I only had 2hp left and I could have been killed outright from massive damage. He did it, he knows he did it, even the players know he did it. He's been doing things like this his entire life. He knows he doesn't play fair and square; he's a born cheat, a compulsive cheater. Selfishly, he knowingly prefers to rob the players from the outcome of legitimate dice rolls so that he can continue keeping them unfairly engaged in his storylines narrative. He somehow thinks it makes him superior to other DMs that wouldn't fudge rolls to save a players character from an honest death.
