A drakewarden ranger could stash magic items in lava pits and use their drake to retrieve them later. Jesse, we're all tired of this format. Let me eat. Hear me out: The DMG says that magic items are very durable, and the rarer they are, then harder it is to destroy them. If the item is rare or very rare, I'm sure you could drop them in a lava pool for a couple of hours without them melting off. Drakewardens can select the damage immunity for their drakes. Meaning that they could make them immune to fire damage, and make them dive into pools of lava to retrieve the magic item without any harm. You guys just wanna break my game, don't you?
