If you don't know what the bloody hell the fuss is all about...

A few weeks back, Bethesda released an open beta test for the new Survival Mode in Fallout 4. If you've played Survival mode before, you remember that it was just a fake diffculty with bullet sponge enemies and legendary enemies every 3 corners.

This new modes purges the old one like the heretic that it was and adds an actual *Survival* mode, which is a Hardcore Mode, which is *hard* and which means you have to *GIT GUD* (seriously)

The problem is that some folks forget that a Hardcore mode is *not* for everyone, and only those that like *and* can withstand a challenge. So the steam/bethesda/fallout 4 forum gets flooded with people complaining, crying, shouting about some features of survival mode

So you if want your *daily douse* of salt, tears, casuls being told to "git gud" now it's the time.

The following features are the ones that people often whine/complain about:

Fast Travel,Quicksave and Manual Save are *disabled* . If you want to save, you have to sleep for at least 1 hour. (A lot want this to be "togglable", which in my opinion, defeats the point of the whole thing if you can toggle things you don't like off)

Console commands are disabled (This one I can understand why people complain about, because it is a Bethesda game of course, so sometimes you can get stuck in a loop thanks to a bug, but... meh)

Carry Weight being drastically reduced (both yours and companion's)

Hunger, Thirst (rip Pearl) , Sleep and Sickness added, basically what you expect from a survival liek mode.
(Sickness can be cured by visiting a doctor or taking antibotics)

In case it wasn't clear, you can't quicksave or manually save, if you want to save, you have to sleep in a bed/sleeping bag/mattress.

To get the Well rested bonus (which now gives you +2 Agility, +2 Endurance and 10% more xp), you need to sleep for at LEAST 7 hours, but it doesnt have to be in a special bed anymore but it HAS to be a bed. Mattress and sleeping bags cant give you the buff.

Console commands are disabled.

Carry Weight is reduced Drastically both to you and companions (example: With 6 Strength you start with 135 wt).

Stimpaks (NOW WITH WEIGHT), Radways and chems in general have negative effects when used (Stimpaks makes you more thirsty and radways makes you hungry AND tired, the latter removes well rested bonus).

Ammo has weight (a mini nuke weigh 12 pounds, *12* . ,Fusion cores weigh 4, missiles's 7. All others are around 0.029 or below. Except for freaking Shotgun shells which weigh 0.1 *each* )

In other news, this mode actually makes Leady Belly, a perk that 99% of players considered useless... pretty f------ useful, like h--------.
