Princess Sunny Starscout

I cannot be a princess I cannot return to those times, I cannot. I cannot be a princess I cannot win against this pain, there is no way out. ---- In another universe, where the three races live separated, and friendship is not magic, the legends of the mane 6 are just a fantastical universe, nostalgic for a time that never existed. There was a young earthpony named Sunny Starscout, who read one too many books about the mane 6, and dreamed of bringing the harmonious Equestria into reality again, but reality has other ideas. Several misadventures, friendship losses, and bad decisions later, she found herself surrounded by ketamine syringes. Her special-K... Special K allows her to leave the harsh reality into her happy place. She would turn down the lights and turn up the volume on her TV, and let the pasteal dream invade her whole being. As long as the special-K is in her blood, she would no longer be a hopelessly sad earthpony in Maretime Bay, but a princess in Ponyville penning royal decrees and solving friendship problems. She would no longer remember the friends that abandoned her without even a good excuse -- her real friends were right there, and she was speaking to them through the voiceboxes beside the TV screen. ---- I had this idea after seeing that Starscout is a pegasister, and thinking about how my own attempts to follow the magic of friendship have crashed so hard. I devoted so much of my heart to friends, but the friendships keep breaking, and I have no more heart to give. I just want to disappear, stop trying to make more friends. Take me to Equestria, please. Ketamine is a dissociative drug that is usually for tranquilization, but can also be used recreationally. One important effect of ketamine is "immersion", which is like, if you watch the TV, you feel fully immersed in it, and feel like you are a character in it. If you listen to a song about Twilight Sparkle, you feel like Twilight Sparkle. I imagine it would feel like going to Equestria if you take enough of ketamine and watch MLP.
