Tomorrow's "Animal Crossing" Update Will Bring Back Old Characters
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is about to be graced with some familiar faces.
Yesterday, Nintendo announced a free update scheduled for April 23rd that will bring back merchants Leif and Redd, who will sell shrubs and art, respectively. Fresh off the heels of the ill-received Bunny Day, Nintendo also announced that several new events are on the horizon. A "Nature Day" event will run from April 23rd to May 4th, a "May Day Tour" event will run from May 1-7, an "International Museum Day" event will run May 18-31, and the entire month of June will be "Wedding Season."
The May Day Tour event also promises "A special visitor who looks familiar," and fans were quick to guess that said visitor was Rover the cat.

Many were excited to see the return of fan favorites from previous games, which appeared unceremoniously cut from New Horizons.

Its almost as if these famous villagers and museum additions were planned to come out all along and nintendo didn’t somehow “forget”, cut corners for money, or weren’t being big meanies https://t.co/mgLcQadjeY

Hopefully, the new updates and events go over much better than Bunny Day and the reign of terror led by the villainous Zipper.
