"Let me frank," whenever Kevin Spacey returns to YouTube, it's very bizarre.
In his latest dispatch from quarantine, he compares the life of a disgraced Oscar winner to losing your job because of the pandemic. The video comes from early April when Spacey participated in something called the "Bits and Pretzels Virtual Founders Breakfast."
"In this instance, I feel as though I can relate to what it feels like to have your world suddenly stopped," Spacey said, "So while we may have found ourselves in similar situations, for very different reasons and circumstances, I still believe that some of the emotional struggles are very much the same, and so I do have empathy for what it feels like to suddenly be told you can’t go back to work or that you might lose your job and that is a situation that you have absolutely no control over."
Of course, not everyone agrees with Spacey's premise. Most don't sympathize with Spacey, who, in 2017, was accused by Anthony Rapp of making sexual advances toward him when he was 14. More than a dozen others have since come forward to accuse Spacey.

But not everybody was making MILLIONS UPON MILLIONS of dollars that they could live on for the rest of their lives when they lost their jobs. So I say AGAIN… https://t.co/4BqfHZdjuo pic.twitter.com/TNdObEUojD
