This hashtag, a call to action for the international community after nearly 300 Nigerian girls were kidnapped from their school by terrorist group Boko Haram, spread quickly through Twitter after politicians, activists and celebrities took up the cause.

The YouTube video known as Yellow Scream, which features painter Kim Beom screaming as he paints his canvas, has been remixed into a song to become even weirder.

Since October last year, variations of this hashtag word game have sprung up on Twitter, most recently due to the "#HashtagWars" segment of the Comedy Central late night show @midnight.
