On February 3rd, 2012, a group of Anonymous hackers took down the Boston Police community homepage, replacing it with KRS-One's "Sound of Da Police," in retaliation for the police department's brutality against Occupy Boston.

After being down for nearly a week, the police officers posted this tongue-in-cheek video about what went on during the downtime.

Although her internet fame was short-lived, this YouTuber's courageous tributes to classic and contemporary pop songs genuinely made the day for many of us on the Internet. We're proud to recognize her contributions with our very first Memeys Viral Achievement Award.
