It’s an FGC thing. In the early days, people refer to chip damage (the damage done while you’re blocking the attack) as Pringles (Because it’s a chip, geddit?). I haven’t heard the term lately though. Also Magneto was one of the top characters (and it gave rose to “Mag Fuckin’ Neto”) and if I remember correctly, there was one big match where the player using Magneto ended the match with a chip damage, since then Magneto's been associated with pringles a lot in the FGC
