Undertale - Tumblr make me hate Undertale

Ooooh, I'm having fun making these:

Putting aside any salt jokes, I really hate how every time undertale wins a round it's not because people thought it was deserved but because "they shilled it out to tumblr"; basically every game for every round has had some level of vote rallying. To me it's fallacious as fuck; if X game is better and more beloved than Y game by so much of a margin that anyone should be able to tell (as is the train of thought in most of the rage threads I've seen) then it shouldn't matter if Y game rallies because no amount of rallying should be able to stop a game that a greater number of people regard as better. Instead what happened is 2 games that are both good in different ways and equally "the best" to different people rallied their supporters and one game came out on top JUST LIKE EVERY OTHER BEST GAME EVER POLL ON GFAQS.
