"We Will Never Die" is a song by American comedian, singer and YouTuber Kyle Gordon, described as a parody of "2011 Millennial anthem" songs by bands like The Lumineers (known as "Stomp Clap Hey" music) and, specifically, the song "We Are Young" by Fun. The track was first teased by Gordon, who is best known for "Planet of the Bass," in early February 2025 through a series of videos on TikTok and Instagram Reels. It was officially released on February 12th, 2025. Following its release, TikTokers began making fun of the song, with many seemingly unaware that it was a parody.

On February 5th, 2025, Kyle Gordon made a post to TikTok[1] and Instagram[2] captioned "The Ultimate 2011 Millenial Anthem" in which he sings a parody of indie rock songs in the style of The Lumineers and Fun, with many comparing the song to "We Are Young" by Fun. The video gained over 5 million views on the former and 2.5 million on the latter in a week.

Gordon continued to post similar videos advertising the song leading up to its February 12th release date. On that day, Gordon released the song on streaming platforms and an official music video on YouTube,[3] garnering over 93,000 views in just under a day.

Leading up to the song's full release, TikTokers began using its original sound to make fun of the song and indie folk genre of music that it parodies, often humorously referred to as "Stomp Clap Hey."
On February 9th, 2025, TikToker[4] @ryanrivassucks posted a meme using the song to represent how his music sounds to him when he's showing it to others, garnering over 5.5 million views in four days.
