On one hand, you have a bunch of people who don't want to pay their taxes, and are occupying a government building with firearms and a voiced intent to kill federal agents. Their crusade was started following the arrest of people who committed the burning of federal land to cover illegal poaching.

On the other, the victims of centuries of institutional racism and poverty, most of which are legitimately peaceful protesters and are not committing acts of violence. There are people who are taking advantage of the chaos to steal and riot, but that is a symptom of a deeper issue, and even MLK Jr. said that riots are the voice of the unheard.

Yep, totally comparable. Clearly the real victims are the ranchers who don't want to pay taxes or fees for illegal activity.
