I get your point…but Penny is a robot with an Aura, which is said to be unique for every living being. She could return, but she will probably not be the same

Seriously, people! Stop being so overdramatic about Penny's supposed death. She's a robot. Human-like robots almost always getting fixed in fiction.

And no! Penny being brought back will not make her death meaningless. Cinder exposed her to the entire world and her overprotective dad had probably witnessed Penny's destruction too. Penny's dad will never let Penny go out in the world again.
