And now both America and Japan have their own Godzilla series going on at the same time. Thanks to the success of the 2014 American movie, Toho’s making a new Godzilla of their own (Resurgence), and of course once Gareth Edwards is finished with Star Wars: Rogue One he’ll then be working on a sequel to the 2014 movie that I think he said will be based more off of Destroy All Monsters. The upcoming King Kong reboot, also from Legendary, will also involve a new Godzilla vs King Kong movie for 2020.
