I kind of hope this escalates further. The america movies make Godzilla movie in the next movie and then toho tries to one up them, it repeats until we eventually have a godzilla the size of Tegen Toppa Gurren Lagann.

Honestly, that's sorta why this movie exists in the first place. While Toho is certainly happy about G14 and the movie series that's lined up for it, they've also got a one-upmanship thing going. For instance, America's Godzilla is 107 meters tall. This guy comes out to 118.5, just so they have the taller Godzilla again.
