So we upped the seriousness and action and down played the funny. This was when they first had the idea that they wanted to try producing animation for older audiences, Samurai Jack was a part of this thinking as well. We were sort of the guinea pigs for what would later evolve into Adult Swim. pan-pizza That explains why PPG got way with so much violence back then. And all the Hannah Barbera retooling for adults like Space Ghost, Flintstones on the Rocks, and what could have been a PG-13 Scooby Do0 Live Action movie

Hmm interesting….now if kids see samurai jack today and I ment the orginal series, how many parents will go insane? Not counting the series reboot this year for adult swim.

Well, Depends on if those parents originally watched Samurai Jack and know their kids wont go off to fight an Ageless demon only to get thrown thousands of years into the future.
