Tajik Jimmy, the "Russian Susan Boyle", is a former migrant roustabout, who rose to multi-media fame in Russia after videos of him friskily delivering pitch-perfect renditions of Jimmy Aaja and Goron Ki Na Kalon Ki from the Bollywood feature "Disco Dancer" while doing odd jobs in Kolomna (Moscow) went viral on Russian social media around the end of 2008, spontaneously highlighting xenophobic violence and the grim realities of migrant labor in the country.
