Long story short.

People don't like ads that may or may not have virus in them.
KYM puts ads that may or may not have virus in them on it's site.
KYM users block all of the KYM ads.
KYM puts a pop up in very page asking their users to turn off their adblocks.
KYM users said "No" and upgraded their adblocks to kill off their new pop up.
