Wario - 25th Anniversary

Congrats, Wario! Here’s to another 25 of years of being a greedy (yet magnificent) b@$+erd!

What I love most about Wario is how much of an antithesis he is to not only the Mario universe, but also to the several other Nintendo universes. The reality is, in all of the Nintendo franchises, almost every single character is one of three things: cute, sexy, or both. And honestly, I grow tired of it. It's not really the fact that they're pleasant to the eyes that's the problem, but rather the overexposure that a lot of them get and how new characters are only getting cuter and sexier.(Regardless, I understand that from a business and marketing standpoint, it's only logical to do so.)
But Wario's nasty mug and even nastier personality are ironically such a breath of fresh air. And his pursuit to satiate his own selfish desires have been some of the most fond memories in video games that I've ever had.
You can keep your "waifus" and "kawaii smols" all to yourself.

But Wario is and will always be my superstar!
