Oh come on, major hero deaths not being permanent is basically Comics 101

Pretty much, yeah. Really, though, the fact that they killed the characters they did honestly did shock me though, because I was more expecting the characters to kick the bucket to make one big massive comeback in A4 for one final Thanasskicking.

That, and of course, it's not like it didn't have any real impact. Peter dying in Tony's arms hit right in the gut, and even though I know he'll be back, that image will still be stuck in my head for a long time.
