JJ Cale wrote "Cocaine." Yes, Eric Clapton has the most popular version. Jimi's version (if it truly exists) was never formally re- leased. Frankly, I'm not convinced yet that he ever played it, but I'm willing to be wrong on this. There are versions of Cream's "Sunshine of Your Love" circulating on the internet that are labeled "Jimi Hendrix - Cocaine." I've linked it below. It is no small irony that Eric Clapton was in Cream. Also, it is somewhat shameful that Melli believes that this is Hendrix. Per haps she did not actually listen to the mp3 she linked. UPDATE: Hendrix died in 1970.
