Coincidentally I just watched Civvie's Eternal Damnation video again where he compares the goriness of that mod to Even Horizon, saying "we're talking Even Horizon deleted scenes levels of gore."

Also interesting to me how both Event Horizon and the first Mortal Kombat movie are arguably Pawl WS Anderson's best work (with those movies I can understand why fans of the games were originally hopeful for his Resident Evil movies, until it became clear he was using the movies more as a way to give his wife, Milla Jovovich, a franchise of her own even if it meant relegating the game characters to being side characters in the movies, and given he's basically doing this again with his Monster Hunter movie I feel like he and Jovovich need to just find a studio who will fund an original sci fi action flick for them to do for once).
