Furries / Furry - Hypocrisy

Yeah but that first one is what one would describe as "cringe" design even by normal furry standards.
Also you're not a furry unless you want to BE the character, if you simply find the character sexy then you just have fetish for an aesthetic (much like weebs and their colourful lasses).

I'm no expert and no furry at all, but my reasoning would be the following : the one on the bottom has a more human female looking body.

She has tits (and 2 of them), she has hips, slender arms and fingers, and even though she technically has all the same animal attributes as the one above her (tail, ears, fur), they are all less defined, more stylized, especially the fur.

Basically, one is an anthropomorphized dog, the other is a woman with dog elements. It's not hypocrisy, it's primal sexual attraction. You don't need to spend 10 minutes debating with your boner whether something is titillating or not, it just is. And surprisingly enough, most humans prefer fucking human looking things, even if they are drawn more poorly
