Niel DeGrasse Tyson made the best comment on this.
"There are two entities in the cosmos that both share the word dark in their name. One of them is dark matter. The other is dark energy. And the fact that we have names for them is actually a little bit misleading, 'cause that implies that we know that one is matter and one is energy. But in fact, we know nothing about either, other than that we can measure that they're there.
~~ Five-sixths of all gravity in the universe comes from an unknown source." – Niel Degrasse Tyson
A lot of scientists are christian or observe other religions and don't treat science and religion as mutually exclusive.
Scientists admit that they don't know or understand a tremendous amount about the universe, aren't treating their current knowledge as final and are constantly researching to build upon current knowledge and discarding what is proven false. Unlike some, not all, Christians who declare that their belief in God is final, irrefutable etc despite utter lack of evidence.
not saying its wrong to believe in god or that Science has all the answers, just that they are not mutually exclusive. Science is based on perceivable phenomenon while the existence of God is a matter of faith, not fact
