This is from Next Generation magazine Issue #1, though the news in it was already a few weeks old by the time it reached the public in January 1995. In their inaugural issue, they do an analysis of various 5th generation hardware, including the Virtual Boy. Note that at this point, it was still unknown what the system would even look like or play, and it was widely believed that it would feature a head-mounted display.
