The last time I checked, CRT wasn't being taught at all in K-12. It's mainly an academic (aka college level) subject matter. And secondly, the big issue is what constitutes CRT in the first place for these people. Is it the academic stuff, or merely just exploring the darker side of America's history?

We already have issues with Southern education when we have textbooks starting off the section about the civil war about a tough time for a family that owned 120 slaves.

While the "body cam" response is overboard and stupid as hell, not wanting CRT in schools is perfectly valid.

At best CRT is a pseudo-intellectual stream of nonsense perpetuated by weasels who can't even define it properly, because when you criticize them on it they pull the "That's not real communism" tactic to avoid the debate, while also trying to force it into academia.

It can certainly be explored for any sort of merit by unbiased groups and individuals, if any can even agree on what it actually means. But using it as propaganda in in a normal school curriculum is wrong in every way.
