IMO, the most unbelievable thing about this 72 virgins thing is not that you can find djihadists who actually believe it. It's that ISIS successfully recruited young men in Europe via social media with this "reward". Not just uneducated men living in the countryside in third world countries. I had to look up a bit because it's been a while since I first heard about this (it's like even before 2015), but I managed to find this article (see p. 21 in the PDF) and this short one to attest that ISIS actually promoted this idea of the 72 virgins as a heavenly reward in their social media posts to recruit new djihadists.

To think that it's still possible to convince young men with this in countries where education is usually free and where religion is less and less practiced sounded insane to me back then. Then again, ISIS recruits in the early 2010's had usually specific backgrounds (socially ostracized, living in poor areas, etc.) but still.

they said virgins, not someone attractive nor female so like league of legend's entire playerbase is free real estate
