This is one of the pairings that I wish fiction would depict more (just without the bad end.) It would be a nice counterbalance to the trope of the emasculated Asian man.

(Of course, I don't support shoehorning in diversity for the sake of satisfying a checklist. Just adding a bit of variety would be nice.)

They've been doing it more recently, just like they have been making more films with White men and black women as lovers. I recall the newest Spider-Man flicks having both types. And while it was a terrible, the latest Cowboy Bebop live action did have the uh… Asian Spike being romantically involved with a white woman
