Part 1

I wouldn't blame you if you missed them, it's basically been the exact same thing posted and re-posted again under different wrapping.

Just skim through and if you find anything with 10+ dislikes, you've found it.

We're not really making fun of the dead soldiers, but more really about the actions of their leaders and the planning behind all of it.

It's more of a laughter fuelled by disbelief and shock, rather than malice.

I live in an area considered to be strategically important and we've had Russian bombers periodically invade our airspace over the years just to flaunt the fact that they can and we'd better not start anything.

I was honestly coming to terms to having my ass blown to hell when this conflict started, when we all thought Russia would steamroll through Ukraine and then move on to Poland or the Baltics.

I'm sure a lot of Europeans felt the same, especially after being told our entire lives how powerful and untouchable Russia was.

And then this happens…

It's like seeing the brave knight charge the dragon and the dragon just pops like a balloon and flies about the room making that high-pitched farting noise.

It feels like someone's playing a joke on us. That this can't possibly be real.

So, we sit down and we try and work out what is.

Part 2

The Ghost of Kyiv was clear horseshit, because one pilot wiping out what is essentially an entire squadron by himself in a day just doesn't happen in modern air warfare.

The Snake Island Fiasco was unclear for a few days, as communication was cut in the bombardment; so everyone just assumed that a warship letting rip on a small collection of buildings on an island you can lap in under an hour probably did kill them all.

Of course, it was only until we got the photos of the prisoners that we accepted that they had survived the barrage.

But then you get onto the smaller things.
