On February 14th, 2022, model Bella Hadid posted a photo of Valentine's candy made to read, "Will You Free My Palestine?" The Instagram post received a reply from designer Donatella Versace that read, "donatella VERSACE 💜" (seen below).^[1]

A screenshot of the interaction was then posted by Twitter user @gorjogle on February 15th, 2022.^[2] The image was also reposted by various accounts in consecutive months, receiving over 200,000 likes collectively.^[3][4][5]
