I'm guessing it's talking about Lois pulling the old 'force Supes to reveal himself by basically blackmailing him with her own life' trick in the new cartoon.

Arguably actually worse in the modern day, with the prevailing culture of privacy rights and respecting the individual. Some have compared it to forcibly outing someone (which, am I remembering correctly, wasn't there a superhero comic that got heat for doing literally that some years ago?).
