Two of the criticisms of generation 3 is an overuse of water routes and synthesized trumpet music.

While the first one does hold some water, the latter is nowhere near as prevalent as some people would have you believe.

heh, "holds some water".
In all honesty, though… I loved the Gen3 music, There was something about those trumpets that made them unique.
My favorite track out of the lot was the Mt.Pyre music, though.
Not a lot of trumpets on that one anyway.
