In order to slip a knife in on of the Adventure Time title card, The Adventure Time "teams" made a gore version of the picture. Yes, he directed High School Musical. But he was also involved in making Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Dirty Dancing, Newsies, and Michael Jackson's This Is It. Having a credit in something you don't like doesn't automatically make something he's involved in terrible.
