But Season 4 is almost all episodes with all of the Mane 6 being present in the conflict of only 1 character, which forces them to take a backseat What makes this a bad thing is that instead of reacting to events as people, they often times call react in the same way, which takes away from their depth and makes them all seem the same at times. Only Flight to the Finish managed to not include as many characters, and it did pretty well except for the way that Rainbow Dash acted so goddamn retarded. Pinkie Pie could have been upset at the ponies not 1548123110 appreciating her level of maturity in such a more serious, dull place. Applejack could have had used a callback to her cutie mark story as a legitimate reason for her to have an ignorant distaste of everything there. Rainbow Dash could have made a comment about how mundane the ponies are in that town, despite it having such magnificent architecture. Fluttershy could have been a goldmine of shy reactions to all of the ponies there, and Twilight could have been worried about being hounded as the princess that she is by all of them, regardless of how much they did decide to hound her I'm not saying all of these things should have happened at the same time in a Rarity episode, but they could have at least included one or two of them in a contrast to Rarity's enthusiasm in order to establish more depth and That being said, I enjoyed this episode and think that it was really good, but this is just an observation of mine peppered with a lot of nitpicks. Also, why didn't Rarity just ride Rainbow Dash if she was in a hurry?
