Profits Soar DAILY N Kanye West sues Local entrep Monday, 21 April 2014 wins Best Ne compass company usines A Popular hip hop artist Kanye Nest sued a large compass manufacturer K&R last Tuesday, over the use of the word west on their compasses. Kanye claims that he owns the rights to the name West and as such should be compensated for the use of this word. K&R had told Kanye that the word west is nt being used in relation to his name and that west had appeared on compasses before he was born. The lawsuit was brought in front of a judge last Sunday who ruled in favor of Kanye after he made the remark, I know that you aint gonna let me win the case because im black," he further stated "Any white man in my place would have won easily." Kanye is now being given $33 per aevice.
