“Wait!”, said Lyra anxiously.
Bon Bon halted mid step.
“Do you think..?”, said Lyra pointing a hoof to a locked wooden chest, recessed into it’s own decorative alcove.
Bon Bon paused, gazing intently to Lyra’s eyes, she nodded her response.
The mares brought forth secret keys on glittery spider’s filament, hidden carefully within their manes. Each nervously moved the keys to the chest and placed each into the corresponding lock.
“On three.”, said Bon Bon.
“One..”
“Two..”
“Three!”
{click} Went the locks. The ancient carved chest creaked wearily open. Strange, eerie mists slithered over the edges and vanished as they touched the floor.
“At lassssst”, said Lyra whose eyes glimmered at the contents.
The mares reached in and pulled out two long and delicate items wrapped in black velvet and silver runic text, their faces feverish with glee and desire.
“It is spoken,”, said Bon Bon in an ominous and practiced tone, “That these items were wrested from an escaping hu..”. She paused momentarily, citing the need to conceal the name, “from ‘thee’ creature. And that these creatures’ items shall catch many more. And Thee creature knows the ways of the pony, and shalt scratch thy ponies ear in such methods that thee shall bring a total and eclipsing heavenly bliss. And that such ambrosia tis revered, hath experienced only by Princess Celestia and ye ole Star Swirl.”
The mares opened the velvet bags and withdrew their contents, in silent awe they held them up and aloft.
Two small butterfly nets with the inscription J-Mart @ $3.99 were raised by the mares.
“It is done, the seal is severed.”, said Bon Bon. “Tonight we dine in feels!”
“ONWARD!!!”, they yelled, as they careened and crashed through their front house door, bolting toward the Sister’s Castle.

Twilight galloped without restraint to the same castle. Once inside she was guided by her own infused ‘logic defiance’ mental-radar. Within moments, she arrived in the grey stone room where the children and the ‘creature’ had been.
“Evidence!”, spat Twilight.
Her eyes shifted in hues, looking for any sign of alteration. Hoof prints, claws, dwindling heat signatures.
A twinkle in her left eye.
“THERE!!!” she said triumphantly.
A small, white glittering scale propped at the corner of the room. Twilight collected it and held it close for inspection.
“You!”, she spoke to the scale in a twisted voice, “You are not right, my little pretty.”
Twilight magically drew forth a long cloak from her travel pack and dressed herself. She cackled with glee as she pulled over the hood. “Ahahahaa. Ahahahhahaaaa”
Like a villain in an old black and white film, Twilight in a sinister fashion pulled the cape over her snout. With narrow eyes darting left and right she exited the room. (check comments for the rest)
