I'm just watching Smash Bros trend on Twitter, and I can't stop laughing at how many people are upset about the reveal; main complaints so far have been that it's not Shulk/Rayman and that these are "obscure Japanese characters". Oh, and then there was that one guy who was upset because the reveal wasn't Daisy. Based Sakurai.

I imagined this conversation happened:
Sakurai: Hey Takeda, would you mind retweeting my announcement of the new character livestream?
Takeda: Sure, why not? But why?
Sakurai: Thanks buddy, this is going to throw so many fans off, now I've gotta go check on Ubisoft if they accepted my request…
