For those of you who don't know what they are, look at pic related. These nasty candy corn-tasting pieces of s--- that are about $2 a dozen. What's so important about my job you ask? It's not that my job is important, it's what I do Each and every day a machine bakes, frosts, and sprinkles these hunks of sugar. It's my job to inspect cookies with defects and toss them for quality assurance. I'm the guy that makes sure you aren't eating something that kills you, so it's a pretty important task I've got to uphold Around 2001-2002,I became what they like to call a "trusted" employee. Meaning that I don't have some asshat looking at my back 24/7 There's a line on the top portion of the packaging that says "made in a peanut-free, nut-free factory". This is true, for the most part. Unless it comes from the factory I work in. Each day I go into work with a sandwich bag in my pocket, filled with a combination of peanut and sunflower seed butter. For every cookie I "inspect", I wipe off just a dab from my fingers onto the base of the cookie. The paste is just ever so light tanned enough that you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between that and the cookie at first glance. My goal here is to thin the gene pool of s----- traits. In this case, people with peanut allergies. My hope is that every day, someone out there in this big blue ball is choking to death for the sake of the advancement of all future humans. We will eventually live in a Utopia where any man and woman can munch down on cashews freely I'm just doing Darwin's work.
