Wengh in itself can be used as a substitute to any response to any statement.
Example:
"Where have you been all day?"
"Wengh."
However, the video itself, knows as "WENGH EXTREME" (which is what the majority of people who know wengh are referring to) was created when a youtuber known as DarkOceanFilms was bored while helping a friend with a film project and decided to "Wengh" as he zoomed in on whatever caught his eye, stopping recording as soon as the camera was zoomed in, and starting recording as soon as a new subject suitable for zooming was found. The original 4 shots were played back repeatedly, and due to their hilarity, were replicated over and over within a small group people.
Over time, a small interest grew in wengh and led to young and unexperienced "wenghsters" (who can't even seem to pronounce it right) across the world creating their own wengh videos, thus, making it a baby meme.
After the confusing amount of attention for something so small, the original creator uploaded a sequel for the hardcore "wenghsters" known as WENGH EXTREME 2:
Additionally, there is a wengh facebook group where wenghsters of all kinds are able to discuss the social, political, and ethical aspects of wengh:

Oddly enough, there seems to be some sort of militant association with wengh, as the collaboration of wenghsters is known as the "army of wengh", sending requests to "join the fight".
Wengh can also serve as a good substitute for the "not cool anymore because it's too popular" Rick Roll, as it can effectively stir up true feelings of "WTF am I watching?!"
