Pretty much entirely human in form and basic appearance, but at this stage you start seeing traits like full-body fur, animal elements in the face, claws or pawpads on otherwise human hands, etc. Still almost solely human in general anatomy. Literally an animal, no anthropomorphism beyond what a human might project onto it. Examples: an actual cat or dog; most Pokemon; any non-human mammal on Earth; etc.
