I personally think that they genuinely feel that way, they aren't making it up. However, they shouldn't be simply accepted, I'm not saying that they should be hated, I'm saying that it's very possible that a person that genuinely believes to be another animal inside to the point it has to ask people to not step on it's invisible tail has some psychiatric issues and should receive some treatment and be helped instead of be bullyed.

Humans are weird. We've made our lives so comfortable and easy that now all we can do is sit around and go insane.
