10 Reactions To Elon Musk Trying To Buy Twitter
Elon Musk made headlines recently for taking over Twitter as one of its largest shareholders. Now, a new competitor has emerged as Vanguard took back more shares than Elon, and Elon didn't seem to like this development. Now, he has less power in controlling all decisions the platform makes, though he does still have a very significant level of control over the company at his current share. Elon's solution was to offer to buy Twitter for about 43 billion USD. That's an incredibly absurd amount of money, and if it was put towards other causes, it could do some serious good, but now it's going towards changing some of the rules of Twitter. We're all waiting to see if Elon Musk actually upholds his promises of freedom of speech, or, more likely, finds access to user data on the platform and ad revenue. Millions of people are acting like him buying Twitter is going to be great for the site, but historically, billionaires running social media and news networks hasn't panned out very well. So while we anxiously await any developments in the purchase attempt, here are some of the best reactions to the news from Twitter users themselves.

Gamers are indeed the most oppressed group on Twitter. Or at least they think they are, because they can't turn the platform into a COD lobby.

It's Not That Funny

Some people think this was all some sort of publicity stunt, but why? He already is one of Twitter's biggest shareholders, so why would he be making this up?
