While searching things online has definitely made it easier to find facts, sometimes information isn't really what we're looking for. Sometimes a joke can be even better, or better still if it's technically true. These things posted online are just that: not so serious, but still correct. We can't technically argue with any of them, really. Are these the online genuises we've been looking for who will solve all our difficult questions? Maybe, but honestly, probably not, since one of them was talking about eating soap. But they're still not wrong, so in that sense, they're doing better than the rest of us even when they're making dumb jokes.

The subreddit /r/TechnicallyTheTruth collects some of the best social media posts that capture moments of pure honesty. Maybe a little too much honesty, if we're being honest. While the 16 examples below may not be actual Google answers, most would agree that they are still considered pretty true.
