When looking for something to make for dinner, lunch or dessert, it can be helpful to find an inspiring and well-reviewed online recipe to guide the way. The people who take the time to make recipes and share them with the world are truly doing a great service, especially for those who aren't very confident in the kitchen. Of course, it is important to make sure the recipe is reliable, which is why a good rating is important to see. Unfortunately, not all of these ratings are 100% trustworthy. Taking a look through some of them reveals some confused and lost people who seem to think that changing or leaving out major steps or crucial ingredients in a recipe will result in it turning out fine anyway.

When things go terribly wrong for them, they take it out in the reviews. It is quite entertaining to see how some people's brains work. How was substituting carrots for kale in a carrot cake recipe ever supposed to work out right? It is just ridiculous the things some people decide to do. Here are 26 people in the recipe reviews section outing themselves for their terrible decisions in the kitchen.
