Give The Social Media Manager For Tito's Vodka A Vacation
COVID-19 is truly bringing out the creativity in everyone. In an effort to combat the Coronavirus, people have been flocking to stores to purchase hand sanitizer. Because the demand has been so high, stores are selling out, leaving people to their own devices to make their own at home. According to the CDC, the recipe for hand sanitizer requires 60% alcohol, which inspired many to use Tito's Vodka for some reason.
For an entire 24 hours, the official Twitter account for Tito's Vodka responded to pretty much every tweet that mentioned using their product as an ingredient to make hand sanitizer, letting each user know that their vodka only contains 40% alcohol. After the brand began to trend, many couldn't help but mock the countless amount of people who had chosen a reasonably nice vodka to create the hand sanitizer.

Especially when there are other bottles of garbage booze out there.
The more important question is what sort of over-paid golden toilet owning psychopath would use Tito's Vodka to make hand sanitizer instead of some garbage booze? https://t.co/hRCFpWEWkf

While others grew even more concerned for their nation.
Between people refusing to buy Corona beer because of the coronavrius and people trying to use Tito's vodka as hand sanitizer, I think Americans may need to drink a bit less and perhaps take a science class or something

If anything, Tito's Vodka might be doing a way better job than Mike Pence.
And with that, Tito’s Vodka did more to spread accurate information and preparedness about the coronavirus than our president https://t.co/Da67S1ygiD

While Tito's Vodka clarified their alcohol content, many were left wondering what they should use instead.
If Titos is only 40% alcohol… Do any liquor brands/types meet the 60% alcohol hand sanitizer requirements? #coronavirus #covid19 pic.twitter.com/TBHGb5JF3S
