Michael Jordan Cried At Kobe Bryant's Memorial And Knows You're Going To Meme It
A memorial for Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna was held today that brought many family members, celebrities, and fans to the Staples Center in Los Angeles to honor their lives. Following an emotional speech from Kobe Bryant's wife, Vanessa, Michael Jordan arrived to deliver an impassioned speech about his friend. As the tears starting streaming down his face, Jordan couldn't help but take a moment to crack a joke to brighten up a room that desperately needed it the most.
After addressing the tears on his face, Jordan informed the crowd that he had told his wife that he wasn't going to cry because he didn't want to look at another 'Crying Jordan' meme for the next couple of years. "That is what Kobe Bryant does to me," said Jordan as the crowd burst into laughter. Twitter couldn't help but love the moment and quickly sent the phrase "Crying Jordan" to trend while he was still giving his speech.
